About Me

I have over 3 years of experience teaching chess and working with students. I’ve seen how chess helps kids build focus, confidence, and strong thinking skills.

Why I started Zinnia Academy:

As a lifelong learner and educator, I became concerned after reading studies showing that reading achievement and student engagement have declined in recent years.

Seeing these challenges firsthand in the classroom inspired me to create Zinnia Academy.

My goal is simple: help children become more confident, curious, and independent learners through engaging chess classes and personalized tutoring.
