One on One Executive Function Coaching

Our one-on-one executive function coaching replaces a one-size-fits-all approach with personalized strategies built around your child. Together, we strengthen skills like focus, planning, organization, task initiation, and time management—helping students become more confident and independent at school and at home.

How it Works
Step 1

Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment

We begin by getting to know your child—their strengths, challenges, routines, and goals. Through an initial session and parent input, we identify the executive function skills that need the most support and establish clear priorities for coaching.

Step 2

Build Personalized Strategies

We work one-on-one with your child to develop practical strategies for focus, organization, planning, task initiation, time management, and other executive function skills based on their individual needs.

Step 3

Regular Progress Reports for Students & Parents

As your child grows, we continue adapting our approach and communicating with parents about progress, challenges, and next steps—so the strategies evolve alongside your child.

Inside a Typical Coaching Session

An illustrative breakdown of how a one-on-one executive function coaching session may be structured.

Research behind the coaching

During my time as a teacher, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate closely with occupational therapists, and many other child development professionals to support the students in my class with a wide range of learning and developmental needs. Through those experiences, I’ve learned and adapted practical strategies that now inform my approach to executive function coaching.

My Goals

My goal is to help your child become more organized, confident, and independent—while making everyday routines easier for your family.

  • Less reminding & prompting through stronger routines.

  • Better planning & organization for school and everyday responsibilities.

  • Stronger focus & time management to stay on track.

  • Greater independence as your child builds confidence in their own abilities.

I work toward these goals through personalized strategies, consistent practice, and ongoing communication with you.
